The skull collection
One of the main tasks of the Institute of racebiology, was to collect as many variables within the human race. In practice this meant that the racebiologists collected Sami skelletons for a long period of time. The precise origin of these bones is unknown, or this knowledge was “lost”. There is however documented proof that they plundered ancient graves to get to the older, pre-colonial bones.
Today, many Sami skulls are still kept in the archives. Swedish politicians use the words ” It was the zeitgeist”… to explain, cover or forget these remains.
